Blossom & Pirelli Bring Rubber to Skiing

If you're looking for the latest innovation in skiing equipment, Blossom Ski and Pirelli have something truly unique for you. The two companies have joined forces to bring the first sport carve ski with a layer of anti-vibration rubber inside. This new ski is designed for stability, smooth skiing, and precision in both short and long-range turns.

Crafted with dedication, passion, and cutting-edge technology, the Sport Carve Ski by Blossom is created by sandwiching a series of layers of different materials together with special adhesives and welding them in an oven. The ski features a wooden core, a graphite sole, a double layer of Titanal for stabilization, and a triasal fiberglass that promotes optimum torsion during high-stress turns.

The contribution from Pirelli includes a strip of anti-vibration vulcanized rubber that is designed to dampen up to 60% of the stresses the ski undergoes during descent. This rubber plays a critical role in making the ski a truly unique tool, providing a guarantee of having an excellent grip and the ability to execute tight turns.

What's more, the ski is available in seven different colors inspired by competition tires, making it an attractive option for all skiers. Each color is produced in a limited and numbered series of 110 pieces, honoring the anniversary of Pirelli Motorsport, which celebrated 110 years of activity in 2017.

The ski is produced from a height of 151 and climbes in increments of 7: 158, 164, 170, 176, 181. Each measurement corresponds to a different radius of curvature expressed in meters: 10, 11, 13, 14, 16, 17. The unique sidecut construction provides the perfect shape for the ski, with measurements of 121-71-106.
